Bourgogne Aligoté "Le Moisenot"

The Bourgogne Aligoté from Domaine Bertrand was born from Catarina's challenge to transform this long-underappreciated Burgundian grape variety into a resounding success. Sourced from the unique "Le Moisenot" plot in Barizey with vines of 40 years of age, this wine surprises with its roundness and freshness, breaking with the traditional image of Aligoté.

Tasting Notes – 2022 Vintage With a pale yellow robe with golden reflections, this Bourgogne Aligoté seduces with a nose rich in yellow fruit and soft citrus aromas: peach, pineapple, bergamot, kumquat. Fresh hints of pine and meadow are also present. On the palate, it is round and persistent with a slight salinity. The tasting finishes on a tangy, fresh note, bringing an invigorating little kick.

Serving temperature: 14–16°C

Ageing: All our wines are aged in oak barrels, 30% of which are new. For our 2022 vintages, we experimented with egg-shaped tanks to keep the wine in constant movement, preserving freshness and fruit purity. We will continue this method for vintages with ripe, juicy fruit.
