Grape: Petit Rouge 75%, 25% other grapes
Refined in oak barrels
Full blooded
500 ml / 43% vol.
Torrette is the Aosta Valley’s most famous DOC wine, produced with indigenous grapes such as Petit Rouge, Vien de Nus, Cornalin and Premetta, grown in high altitude vineyards from 600 to 800 metres throughout the valley on both sides of the Dora Baltea river. The marc distilled in small discontinuous copper stills, gives a grappa that is quite dry with strong flavours. Hints of forest fruits blend well with those of vanilla and spices. This refined grappa becomes increasingly rounded and complex with age.
