TASTING NOTES
Nose: Rich Madeira, blackberry and grape aromas
feature with sweet vanilla and a medley of dried
fruits - figs, sultanas, prunes.
Taste: Velvety mouth feel with sweet honey notes,
vanilla, oak spice, dried fruits and a dusting of cacao.
Finish: Madeira sweetness leads to tannins providing
a dry mouth feel; coffee notes linger on the palate.
Penderyn Whisky
This whisky is the original Penderyn ‘house style’, aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Madeira wine casks to bring out its full gold character.
It is bottled at 46% abv.
