Muscadet Huchet

Jérémie Huchet is a fourth-generation winemaker crafting exceptional, terroir-driven Muscadet in the western Loire Valley. Taking over his family's estate (Domaine de la Chauvinière) in 2001, he has championed sustainable viticulture, long lees-aging, and organic farming to elevate the reputation of the Melon de Bourgogne grape.

The Terroir: Jérémie Huchet's vineyards overlook the Maine River, benefiting from unique subsoils of granodiorite and gneiss that give his wines their signature crisp minerality and bright, saline finish.

The Style: His wines are fresh and zesty with delicate floral, citrus, and herbal notes. They typically spend months on their lees (fine yeast sediment), adding a textural creaminess that elevates them far above basic Muscadet.
