Chateau de Laubade - Milhoc Single Grain Whisky - Premier Né 45% 700ML
The first creation is a single grain whisky (corn and malted barley), the result of the blending of many barrels (French, American, ex-Armagnac, ex-Bourbon) having matured between 4 and 5 years.
TASTING NOTES:
On the nose, toasted notes of citrus, vanilla and sweet spices. The palate is rich, round and balanced, with a long and salivating finish.
ELABORATION:
This first creation is a single grain whisky that draws its roots in the terroir of the Bas-Armagnac, also famous for its corn production. This corn (54%), grown on our estate, malted barley from France (46%) and a slow distillation in our copper column still, give our whisky a unique personality. Patiently aged in the cellar, in new casks, ex-Bourbon and ex-Armagnac, Le Premier-Né is a whisky of great origin and unmatched in its style.
